Strategic Learning Points
- This book beautifully stresses a central point… if we act like everybody else then how can we possibly become exceptional. By default, becoming extra-ordinary means doing things that are not ordinary. It has enabled me to realise that this, in essence, is what I have been doing my entire life. By always staying focused on how to solve the key problem it has caused me to have to think and live differently. Not following the status quo is inevitable for anyone serious about discovering and executing a possible solution. And the reverse is also true, as the status quo is fundamental to the existence of the problem.
- It seems that I am already living up to the 10X Rule in the respect that I have truly separated myself form everyone else, and I haven’t been doing what everybody else does for decades.
- It is true that living in accordance to the 10X Rule now allows me to stand out among other personal development experts, or educators. And this effect appears to be increasing overtime, as I continue my reading experiment.
- Reflecting on this book, I feel that I have not failed to set my targets high enough in my personal and professional life. Rather, my personal target is so difficult and dangerous that it has required me to be extremely patience and clever in order to form a truly powerful solution.
- This text reminded me of the crucial point. Only we can assess if our achievements are extra-ordinary. No one else can do this for us, as only we can tell if we are fulfilling our full potential. I found reading this comforting because in my life I’ve always known that I don’t value the things that other people do. And I have been fortunate to find easy the things that many others find difficult to do. In this respect, it has always been a question of can I live up to what I am about, and what I am truly capable of. I am thankful that, today, it seems that I am still on track.
- The question is, in relation to Involgize, do I have (1) a die-hard level of commitment…. and (2) and am I taking 10 times the amount of massive action than I think is necessary? I would conclude that I am not currently taking the 10 times amount of massive action that I think will be necessary to be omnipresent, as I am still experimenting… deliberately using spiritual energy to enhance creativity… and creating the long-term formula.
This allows me to acknowledge that Grant Cardone is actually talking about using psychic energy when he refers to 10X massive action, but greater action comes from a person using spiritual energy. This part of the book also reminds me that there are others who have seen me evolve the Involgize thing in real time. Seen it go from a low level experiment to a more substantial affair that now involves a school project. I guess the key thing is that they have seen me do all of the things that I said I would do… one-by-one, without fail. Especially in relation to increasing my book count. I guess it’s just a question of ensuring that I continue to do the best that I can to make sure that I continue making the necessary sacrifices and progress. Which also reveals that many people just waste a lot of time. - Grant Cardone talked about the mindset of wanting to dominate the industry or sector. My thoughts are that if spiritually that is what I am supposed to do, then that is what I will do. But on a spiritual level I’m talking about thinking even larger. Dominating an industry or sector is small fry. Alternatively, it’s all about being in harmony with the universe so that we go beyond the need to dominate. That we become like what Bitcoin and the crypto industry is to TradFi or Wall Street (on a completely different level). So my thoughts of creating a decentralised intelligence culture falls in line with this for sure.
- Reminded of the key point that all of the reading that I do and have done… has never felt like work. Instead, it’s just what I do. It’s how I put myself in the most inspired and peaceful state of mind. My form of meditation. The claim is that all wildly successful people experience this reality.
- Acknowledging that the writer, wrote this book at age 52 allows me to better appreciate that the personal development is truly never-ending. Raising the question: what stage of intellectual development will I get too by the age of 50, if I am allowed to continue my current trajectory?
- In relation to taking massive action, I would argue that there is a big difference between me and someone else reading a book. It can be considered that I’m like a spinning-top: action in repose. In other words, when it seems like I may be doing nothing but reading (still), in fact, I am carrying out a tremendous amount of mental work (spinning). When it seems like I am just sleeping or resting, I am in reality conducting an intense level of intellectual information processing. The result is that what I do, effortlessly, would completely wipe another person out for weeks, if not months. I often lose sight of this, and reading books like this remind me of the true extent to which I have developed myself overtime.
- I found it comforting that this text supports my actions to, ruthlessly, remove all people and things that are or will have an affect of average on my daily life. Overtime, I have been very relentless in this respect, and it really has been a 20% difference in terms of discovering my genius and accessing more and more of my courage and creativity. In harmony with the writer’s advice, I can honestly say that most of the people who know of my existence, know that I treat average like a terminal disease. I expect all those I associate with to Involgize (develop their intelligence, evolve, and plan relentlessly), and they know this.
- This book confirmed to me that I am definitely a forward thinker in the respect that I don’t copy, compete, or look at what others are doing. I’m just focused on creating by tapping into my intuition and spiritual insights.
- It has been my exact experience using Instagram that when others see me 100% committed with complete and utter conviction to create an alternative intelligence culture based on reading, they start to give me the attention and support that Involgize may require to move things further forward.
- It has also been my experience that when others see the intention, conviction, and commitment in my passionate thoughts, eyes, and movements; they choose to quickly get out of my way (lol).
- Successful people look for problems to solve, whereas, unsuccessful people run away from the bigger problems. In other words, successful people actually set-out to discover and form a solution, whilst the unsuccessful live in ways that allows them to run away and not confront reality. Hence, this is why it will never matter where I am physically, as this does not have to stop me from working on a solution. And this is why I must not spend too much time on social media to make sure I am not affected by the energy of anybody accept the status-quo.
- Can you imagine what it would be like if you, your brand, and your company could be everywhere all the time – and how much power this would give you? If Involgize was known in every hood in the UK and the US, and African country around the globe? The writer suggests that this should be my goal for Involgize. That Involgize would become like David Allen’s ‘GTD.’ This is definitely something for me to think more about for sure. In the short-term, it inspiring me to create more video content to be able to reach a wider range of people in one hit.
- In terms of omnipresence, I can see a film about my intellectual experiments, and how we created Involgize… intellectual martial arts… white to black armband. The audience will see me like the main character in the film ‘Limitless’ at my desk processing a wide range of information from law, to trading, to spiritual meditation, to physical development… using my website and social media profile as a control station… going into school and converting everybody that I come into contact with into readers and strategically smarter people immediately. This allows me to see that reading 1000 book strategically is such a power aspect of the story that I am creating. Letting others see what can happen if we cut-out any educational middlemen, and simply just read.
- The question is are the things that I am currently doing with Involgize going to help me be everywhere? Creating numerous instagram videos, and wearing Involgize clothing everywhere I go is, definitely, going to slowly but surely help me be everywhere. I guess this is the point. It may be all about me re-appreciating the importance of representing Involgize in as many places as possible, all of the time. This may be the difference between the current Tom, and the Tom of the future who has graduated to another level of personal effectiveness.
- One of the thing that re-visiting this book has allowed me to appreciate… is that Involgize is actually good enough for me to start representing more heavily. This is because my website is unique and exceptional and contains the essence of what Involgize is all about. Therefore, I will now priorities creating and wearing more pieces of Involgize clothing. And include more Involgize clothing within my videos to make the point of omnipresence.
- This text has reminded me that Involgize is probably my most valuable asset. And that the Involgize brand is only as valuable to the extent that others know about it. This would suggest that I should definitely make sure that each student’s has an armband to keep. And that I should do more to ensure that I better represent the brand everywhere that I go, and with everything that I do. Involgize represents who I am as an information genius. It is certainly not something that I need to force. Rather, it is something that I will expand naturally and organically.
- This book confirmed to me that thinking about creating a culture that can remedy the poor and mis-education of large groups of people was absolutely the right thing for me to focus on in my life. And shows that I have truly been listening to, and following the advice from, the super successful. Now, when I tell someone that I have read around 700 books, over a 15 year period, they quickly start to feel unsure of themselves. Also, I now better acknowledge that my website will also create this similar affect of being intellectually terrifying. In fact, Involgize as a brand will also have this type of impact on a person as well. For me, I find this very intriguing, as it was not my intention to have this powerful influence at all. But merely just to do everything I can to serve as some sort of example.
- The writer has also discovered that it is reading that makes the key difference between the successful and those that are not. Yet, he does not give reading any primary focus other than mentioning it’s importance. This is the reason why I felt that something like Involgize is missing. If reading is the key activity… then surely everything should be designed to ensure that everyone is reading as much as they can, all of the time. Essentially, this would suggest that the majority of activities are just distractions unless those activities also emphasis and expand a person’s reading ability in the short-term? I acknowledge that it’s because I have read widely that I seem to be able to critique many of the things that the writer argues or claims.
- This book reminded me that, strategically, I am focused on establishing a strong brand, in particular, with people of African descent due to my awareness of the tremendous opportunity, psychological landscape, and forces at work in mainstream society. I am setting out to be known as, at the least, one of smartest from this demographic in order to leverage the brand to create wide scale cultural change.
- Commit to 10X thinking and 10X action in relation to Involgize and the possibility of creating a pervasive intelligence culture.
